Surfland Brasil is at Garopaba, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Surfland Brasil runs on Wavegarden Cove, a electro-mechanical system from Aizarnazabal. The Cove uses 46+ independent electro-mechanical modules along one wall. Each module pushes a submerged panel; sequencing the pushes creates a travelling swell that peels down the reef bay. Software controls the panel firing pattern, so a Cove can shift from a mellow Waikiki roller to an overhead barrel between waves.
Surfland Brasil opened in 2024 in Garopaba, Santa Catarina, a town with genuine surf heritage on Brazil's southern coast. The Wavegarden Cove anchors a resort development with residences and amenities, bringing guaranteed waves to a coastline that already hosts national tour events.
Sessions start around $80 per hour. Multi-session and accommodation packages are available through the resort.
In Garopaba, Santa Catarina, southern Brazil, about two hours south of Florianópolis.
No openings listed at Surfland Brasil today. Surf parks hire coaches, lifeguards, wave operators, and hospitality staff in seasonal waves, so it is worth checking the board again.
