The technology
Beyond the Club runs on Wavegarden Cove, a electro-mechanical system from Aizarnazabal. The Cove uses 46+ independent electro-mechanical modules along one wall. Each module pushes a submerged panel; sequencing the pushes creates a travelling swell that peels down the reef bay. Software controls the panel firing pattern, so a Cove can shift from a mellow Waikiki roller to an overhead barrel between waves.
Beyond the Club is a private surf club built around a Wavegarden Cove in São Paulo. The operator's own site still lists the project as under construction as of September 2026, so we treat the opening status as unconfirmed until we can verify operations directly. The club is planned with a strict membership model, offering uncrowded sessions minutes from the business capital of South America, plus dining, wellness and event facilities.
