The technology

Revel Surf runs on Swell MFG — a pneumatic system from Mesa. A pneumatic system with a menu of settings tuned around real-world reference waves — San Onofre-style rollers through Lowers-style A-frames. Built by former CT surfer Shane Beschen with engineers Matt Gunn and John Bushey.

Opened 2024 at Cannon Beach in Mesa, AZ. The wave technology is Swell MFG — a Shane Beschen / Matt Gunn / John Bushey collaboration — a pneumatic system with a menu of San-O style rollers through Lowers-inspired ramps. The pool anchors a 37-acre retail and residential complex, the largest surf-park development in the US.
