How it works
UNIT builds two related deep-water platforms. The Standing Wave uses a shaped nozzle and pumped water column to hold a stationary face, letting riders use real shortboards, not sheet-wave foam. The new 50-metre Dynamic Wave uses a pneumatic driver to send a traveling wave down a purpose-built reef bay for longer rides.
