Revel Surf Mesa is a year old. The pool — Swell MFG's first commercial install, developed by former CT surfer Shane Beschen — was pitched as a "reference wave" pool: no menu, no gimmicks, one perfect head-high wave tuned to a specific pointbreak model.
The one-year numbers

- ~Repeat visit rate: 62%. Highest of any US pool that publishes the figure.
- ~Average session length: 55 minutes. People are booking back-to-back hours.
- ~Peak booking window: 6–9 pm summer. Arizona daytime heat pushed the schedule.
The single-setting philosophy turned out to be the draw, not the limitation. Intermediates who can already surf treat Revel like a driving range: same wave, over and over, isolate one turn and repeat until it clicks.
