The role
Waco Surf is hiring a Head Surf Coach to lead the coaching team across every session tier on the PerfectSwell lagoon, from first-timer slots to the air sessions that fill the highlight reels.
What you will do
- Own the coaching roster, session briefings, and in-water coaching standards.
- Build progression pathways from beginner through advanced and pro-training slots.
- Work with the wave operators to match settings to the ability in the water.
- Run video review, camps, and private coaching bookings.
- Recruit, train, and certify seasonal coaching staff.
What we are looking for
- Five or more years coaching surfers, including a leadership season.
- ISA Level 2 or equivalent, current CPR and first aid.
- Lifeguard award preferred.
- Comfortable coaching a repeatable wave and reading a set cycle.
Details
Full time, year round. Weekend and holiday work expected. Board and wetsuit allowance, park access, and medical benefits included.
